Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year Crafty Friends,
I get the final design team post for 2014 at Digi My World and Ann made the perfect image for me to share with you.
Isn't this little Clock Strikes Midnight image adorable?  I punched the image using a 2.75" punch mounted on a 3" scallop punch.  I used Jaded Blossom's Wine Tag Die for my base and a stamp from JB's Happy New Year set heat embossed onto a tag from Mini Tag Dies 2.

The Frap bottle is filled with kisses decorated with a 1"scallop punch holding candy stamps also from Jaded Blossom's Happy New Year set.

Hard to see in the photo, but on the clock hands and gloves I used Wink of Stella brush glitter to go along with the sparkly patterned paper.  For the rest of the image, I used Copic markers.
This image is available in the Digi My World store now.
Be sure to visit the design team blog to meet our new designers.  Beginning January 5, 2015, we'll be posting daily and there will be a brand new release on January 23 with sneak peeks beginning January 19.  2015 is going to be a great year for Digi My World, I hope you'll join us!!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful New Year!!!

You've Been Kissed

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was so lucky to be given another opportunity to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom.  You know how much I love their stamps and dies - a bit of an addiction, I think!  Thanks Michelle and Candace for the second go round and for feeding my addiction.
Since Christmas is only three days away I figured it's time to think beyond Christmas from a crafty standpoint.  So, I've made this cute little Valentine treat box using Jaded Blossom goodies.

For this "sweet treat," I used the Goodie Bag Die, Mini Tag Dies 2, Valentine Dies and a stamp from Sprinkled with Love.  The sweet Lil Cupid Girl is a digital stamp from Digi My World.
The image is colored with Copic Markers.  I added a little sparkle with Wink of Stella and Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Joy to the World

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to another Delightful Challenge and sadly the last ever Delightful Challenge. It was decided to close the challenge site to devote more time to Digital Delights by Louby Loo designs. Digital Delights by Louby Loo will NOT be going anywhere and will continue to bring you fun and exciting daily posts and new designs.

For our final challenge post we've chosen the theme Celebrate!  When you visit Delightful Challenges you'll see lots of different interpretations of the theme.
I've chosen to celebrate the birth of our Lord using the Three Wise Men set from
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

The heat embossed sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Elegant Holiday Greetings set stamped onto a Spellbinders grommet label.  The Wise Men were printed and cut using my Silhouette then colored with Copic Markers adding highlights using Stickles, Wink of Stella brush glitter and Smooch.  Some Doodlebug sparkles and gold ribbon finished the card.
This final challenge is being sponsored by our own

Prize

The Delightful Challenges design team is ending its term with this final challenge.  I will be joining the Digital Delights Blog team beginning January 8, 2015.  Although there won't be a weekly challenge, you'll see more amazing ideas using the fabulous digital products from Digital Delights by Louby Loo every day.  We hope you'll stop by the Digital Delights Blog at
http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.blogspot.com

Thanks for following my journey with the Delightful Challenges team- my very first digital stamp team.  I'm very excited to be able to stay with Digital Delights and continue to design for the talented Louby Loo (AKA Wendy).

Friends are Best at Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Digi My World.  Have you visited the store lately?  It is completely revamped and updated.  I hope you'll take a look.  Also, exciting news for the new year - we have new design team members and will be posting EVERY day beginning in January 2015 - woohoo!  There will be new releases coming your way along with future blog hops!!!

I just love the adorable Penguin Trio and decided I'd use all three for today's project.

These yummy papers are from the Doodlebug Designs 6x6 Frosty Friends paper pad.  I added some icicles and a snowflake using Jaded Blossom's Winter Dies.  The sentiment is from DMW's  Holiday Blessings clip art set.  I colored the image with Copic markers and added a gem and some twine to complete the card.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Bundle Up

Hi Crafty Friends,
Has winter arrived at your house yet?  We're expecting a big storm tonight - high winds and lots of rain.  People have been cleaning leaves and gutters, anchoring their holiday decorations and, in some cases, filling sandbags in case of street flooding.  Of course I'm trying to finish everything that uses electronics in case of power outages.  Eeek, crafting by candlelight!!

Our challenge today at Delightful Challenges is "Bundle Up."  We're creating with a winter theme in mind.  I'm using Snuggled Up Daffy from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I put Daffy on Jaded Blossom's brand new Goody Bag Die.  What a great way to give a special little treat.  I added some twine with a Jaded Blossom Winter Candy stamp on a Candy Die.
I also added some snowflakes and Stickles to the mat that I embossed with the Darice Snowflake folder.  Daffy is colored with Copic markers with Frosted Lace Stickles added to the fur on her dress.

Twinkle, Twinkle

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's challenge time at Delightful Challenges and time for a new release at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
Our challenge is to add something sparkly.  My new release image is Christmas Pudding Ginger.

I put Ginger on the Treat Tag Die from Jaded Blossom and added some sparkly tule.  The holly is a Martha Stewart punch.  More sparkle was added with glitter card stock, Stickles and Wink of Stella brush glitter.

More Holiday Fun

Hi Crafty Friends,

How are your holiday preparations coming along?  I always have grandiose ideas and then the time sneaks up on me and I find myself scrambling to complete everything on my list.  At this point, I'm looking for things to help make my crafting a little easier and Digi My World CLIP ART is just the thing!  These pre-colored images are so adorable and all you have to do is print them.  They can be cut by hand or with your cutting machine - easy peasy.

For today's design team post, I made a simple card using Holiday Blessings and a cute tag using Tree Angel.  Both of these are Clip Art files that can be found HERE.

Just a few embellishments and you're done - couldn't be easier than that!

Don't forget that Digi My World is having a Design Team call.  All the information can be found HERE.

I hope you're enjoying this special time of year.  Thanks for stopping by.

Happy You Are My Friend

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my final post as the November Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom.  It's been so much fun getting to participate in the November Release Blog Hop and also sharing a few more of my creations with you.  I love, love, love Jaded Blossom stamps and dies and I can't thank Candace and Michelle enough for the privilege of designing for them.
Here's my final project.

Jaded Blossom has the most perfect stamps to create treats to share with friends.  I just love this sentiment from the Got Candy? set.  I also used a 2x2x3 Clear box and the Flag Dies set.
The cut file is brand new from SVG Cutting Files called Jumping Girl.
Thanks again to the Jaded Blossom team for their support, encouragement, and inspiration.
Be sure to visit the Jaded Blossom blog every day during December as there will be a different guest designer  EACH DAY.  Wowzsers!!!  Think of all the creativity that will be shared!!!
And join the amazing Jaded Blossom Garden of Creativity on Facebook.

It's a Kid's World

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for our next challenge at Delightful Challenges.  Today we're asking for projects designed with a kid in mind.  I'm using Joyful Joey from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I just love this adorable image.  It's hard to tell but I put the image on a wobble so Joey can joyfully strut his Christmas stuff!  The papers are Recollections.  The tree border and candy cane are dies from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Die set.  Joey is colored with Copics with a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter brush and Liquid Applique for his furry hat.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I hope you're finding a little crafty time during your Thanksgiving preparations (or are you making your Black Friday lists LOL???).

Each year I make table treats for our Thanksgiving celebration.  Turkey Poop seems to be the favorite so once again I made Turkey Poop bags using a free file released by SVG Cutting Files during the Thanksgiving Mini Hop.

I've also used the following Jaded Blossom goodies:
Scallop Slider and Topper Die
Flag Dies
3 x 4 bag
Turkey Poop stamp set

And while you're here - - -
My friend, Chriss, from Scrappin with Chriss and Lou, is having a give away.  Just click the picture on my sidebar to read her blog post and find out how to enter her give away.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Christmas - It's Coming!!

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to another post as Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom.
It's that time when I go into overdrive trying to get ready for the holidays.  I like to get my cards out early in the month and I try to make each one different.  However, when the mailing list is over 60 names long and I'm a dyed in the wool procrastinator, it's time to exercise a little crafty creativity and try to do more with less, if you know what I mean.  I got out two Jaded Blossom stamp sets, Winter Wishes, and Christ is Born and some Jaded Blossom dies, Layered Frame and Journal, Flag, and Mini Tag Dies 2 and got to work.
Here are my cards mixing and matching stamps, papers, and ribbon:

All of the images were heat embossed which I think added a special touch.
When you've got a lot to do in a short amount of time, Jaded Blossom comes to the rescue.

ribbon, Copic markers, Wink of Stella glitter brush pen, Stickles, Enamel Accents, Recollections gems and Basic Grey candy buttons.

A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Digi My World.
I'm sharing Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas images that can be found HERE.  I think this little partridge is so darn cute!

I colored the image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Christmas Wishes and the die is from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set.  I also added Doodlebug gold sprinkles, some burlap and sparkly rick rack.  I hand cut the little pear and punched the leaf cluster.

A Cute Fall Treat

Hello Crafty Friends,
I'm back today with another project as Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom.
Last week was so amazing with the new release.  I made one more project with my FAVORITE sentiment from the Baked with Love set.
How perfect is this for those of us who are not bakers?! Love it!!
I heat embossed the sentiment so it would be the focal point on my project LOL.
I think this would make a cute hostess treat when visiting my friends (who totally understand my lack of baking skills) during the holidays.
I also used the Fall Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2, and a Jaded Blossom 3 x 4 inch clear bag that fits this SVG Cutting Files Fold Over Treat Holder.  Some washi tape, twine, and a gem are the finishing touches.
Thanks for stopping by to see my project.  I'll have another Jaded Blossom project next Sunday.

Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm so excited to be a part of  Jaded Blossom's November 2014 Release Blog Hop.

Here is what I made:

Annie from SVG Cutting Files created this adorable Potholder Treat Box file for me.  I decided to make it a recipe box since the Jaded Blossom Ticket Book die fit so perfectly. From the release, I used Baking Dies, Freshly Baked Stamps, and Baked with Love.

Annie also created a Potholder Pocket Card.  I used the Flag Dies for the sentiment from the Baked with Love set.

I think this will make a cute little birthday gift set, especially if accompanied by a goodie from one of the recipes shared.
