Cut it Up Challenge #348 ~ My Heart

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our theme for Cut it Up's Challenge #348 is MY HEART so we're looking to see a heart somewhere on your project.
I decided to venture outside my creative comfort zone and create something with random stamping, ephemera, and a vintage feel for this challenge.

I began with Pinkfresh Studio's Quilted hearts cover plate run over a piece of patterned paper then cut again with PF's Dotted Nested Deckled rectangles.  Then I got busy randomly stamping images from Simon Says Stamp Vintage Love Notes set and Jaded Blossom's Heart Splatters.  I cut out two LaLa Land Crafts hearts, one from patterned velum, and, finally added ephemera from Tim Holz.  Little bits of PF bling finished the card.  Definitely not my regular style but I like the result and had fun just "letting go!"

I hope you'll play along.

Cut it Up Challenge #347 ~ Favorite Die(s)

Hi Crafty Friends,

For our first Cut it Up Challenge of 2026, the team is using their favorite die(s).

As you know, Jaded Blossom is one of my favorite companies.  I have been a true fan for many crafty years and designed for them for quite some time. Several years ago they introduced their Gnome line and have added so many amazing sets.  It's like adult paper dolls and very addicting.
So, my favorite dies are the Gnome and Girl Gnome dies and all the amazing sets that allow you to create for any occasion.  I'm sharing just a few.

Products used:  Jaded Blossom Gnome and Girl Gnome dies, Baking Add on, Birthday Add on, Valentine Add on.

I hope you'll play along and use your favorite die(s) for our challenge.
Just use the link above to share.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers ~ Sketch #65

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am so happy that I am a DT member of BYSHcardmakers.  These monthly Christmas sketch challenges guaranteed that I had enough cards for my holiday mailings (which was 61 mailed and 10 hand delivered.)
So let's begin the new year with the goal of having a full holiday card stash by Christmas.

Here's my first BYSH card for the new year.

I had the negative piece left from cutting the Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Foliage die which I added over some gold embossed patterned paper.  The sentiment is from Gina K's Shimmering Christmas polyglaze set and the gold and green foliage was in my stash.

Here's the sketch for your inspiration.

You can find more inspiration of the BYSH blog linked above.

Moving Along with the Times January 2026 ~ Stencil and/or Dies

Hi Crafty Friends,

Another monthly challenge is beginning its New Year of challenges.
Our first 2026 theme for Moving Along with the Times is
Use stencils and/or Dies.

I purchased the Gina K Designs 12 Days of Christmas Advent kit.
The Magnificent Magnolia Stencil set was Day 12 and it's stunning.

I also used Jaded Blossom's mesh stencil, Taylored Expressions A2 layered Stacklets, and the Fancy Sentiment Strips Betterpress plate and die.  I added Simon Says Stamp gold splatter medium.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

Happy New Year!!!

Pearly Sparkles January 2026 ~ Patterned Paper

Hi Crafty Friends,

A new year and new challenges for Pearly Sparkles.

We're starting off the new year with a Patterned Paper challenge.
I seem to craft in cycles.  I've been ink blending and using cover die plates so much that I've abandoned my wonderful patterned papers. I have so many Echo Park 6x6 paper pads that are feeling ignored so I visited them for this challenge.

Here's a fun tag to attach to a special gift.

The tag die and bow die were a part of the last Create and Connect (SCT) kit as was the stamp.
The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Flora  set.

I hope you'll join is this year for our Pearly Sparkles monthly challenges.

Happy New Year!!!

The Outlawz Christmas Challenge ~ January 2026

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to The Outlawz Christmas Challenge (formerly Outlawz Festive Fridays.)  We have revamped our Outlawz challenges with new themes, a new blog, and a new challenge start date.
There are now 3 challenges in The Outlawz Challenges family and each one begins on the 1st of the month and ends on the last day of the month.  Our new blog can be found HERE and it is now
CHRISTMAS ONLY.

Here's my first card of the new year.

I created this card using left overs from my holiday designs.  The coverplate is from Pinkfresh studios along with the trees.  The sentiment and star are Gina K designs poly-glaze sheets and the hills are Lala Land Crafts hills border dies.  I used Jaded Blossom's stitched rectangles for the gold mat.

I hope you'll play along with us this year.
Here are the links to our three monthly challenges.

You can join our Facebook Fan Page HERE.

I'm looking forward to a happy, crafty New Year!!

Cut it Up Challenge #345 ~ Oldie but Goodie (from your stash)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's our first Cut it Up Challenge for December.  Our theme is
Oldie but Goodie (from your stash.)

I've used dies and an embossing folder that I've had for a looooong time.
The stamp set has also been in my stash for years.

Here's my card inspired by a video tutorial shared by our fellow team member, Alyson Mayo.
I added so many layers that it's almost like a book LOL!

My oldies but goodies include:
Lala Land Crafts Starry Night DSP, A Caroling We Will Go clear stamp set, Lamppost die, and Houses Border Die.
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
I also used my new Jaded Blossom Winter scenic dies (trees)

This was such a fun card to create.  I think next time I won't add as many layers (the inside of each flap also has a mat and patterned paper so the pages are 6-7 layers!)  The flip pages are also adhered to a note card with a sentiment layer, so when it's closed it's 21 layers!!!  Definitely a card to be hand delivered, but so much fun to create.

Dig through your stash and come join the fun.  Use the link above.
