Moving Along with the Times November Challenge ~ Winter Wonderland

Hi Crafty Friends,

Moving Along with the Times challenge blog has released its November theme, Winter Wonderland.

I took an online card class from SCT and was introduced to LDRS cardmaking kits.
I used papers from the Wildwood Cardmaking kit for this project.

I also added branches from Sizzix and a Gina K Designs sentiment made using thermal foil and her Shimmering Christmas Polyglaze sentiments.  I ink splattered the design paper before adding the die cuts and sentiment.  LDRS also has rub on "splatters" if splattering isn't your thing!

I hope you'll join our challenge this month.

Pearly Sparkles November Challenge ~ Snowman

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our November Challenge at Pearly Sparkles is a SNOWMAN, or woman, child or even a family!!

I used elements from some new die sets to create my card.

The background is embossed using Cuttlebug's Divine Swirls (an oldie) and then splattered.

The die cut images are all from Simon Hurley for Spellbinders Simon's Snowglobe set which included three different sets to change up the scenes.

We can't wait to see what you create.  Just use the link above to share your project.

Double Trouble Challenge #203, 3-2-1 Recipe "Round and Round"

Hi Crafty Friends,

Double Trouble Challenge #203 is now open.
3-2-1 Recipe "Round and Round"

Our challenge has 3 options so you'll want to visit the blog (link above) for a detailed explanation.
Each option gives you more chances in our Random Drawings.

Here's my project for #203 and how I interpreted all the Things!

Thing 1 Trouble Maker offers the 3-2-1 challenge:
3 Circles -The wreath and red accent circle are from Jaded Blossoms Stitched Circle die set.  The remaining circles were created using Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder.
2 Images - the wreath was created using Jaded Blossom and Spellbinders dies.  The Cardinal is from Jaded Blossom Gnome Dies: Winter Add Ons. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Holly 2 stamp set
1 Ribbon, Twine, or Cord - I used gold cord to tie the bow and red glitter cord for the wreath bow.

the first time I've tried iYou may stop with Thing 1's challenge but to add a little more fun we have Thing 3 Twisted Sister's optional twist: - Include at least one bird - the cardinal

And finally, to support our sister challenge blogs, Thing 2's Double Dare is to use TSOT #682  You can see the sketch in the graphic below.

I'll be back bi-weekly on Mondays to share more Double Trouble challenges.
I hope you'll play along.
