The Merry Christmas Challenge # 25

Hi Crafty Friends,
The OPTIONAL theme for The Merry Christmas Challenge is Memories.
There's just something to be said about traditional Santas and Christmas stories.  This paper by Graphic 45 really brings back memories of traditional celebrations.

The only thing I added to the panel I selected was the Joy die cut from Lala Land Crafts.  I really think the paper says it all.

Always Fun Challenge #63 ~ Sketch

Cut it Up Challenge #150 ~ Anything But a Card

Hi Crafty Friends,
Along with cards, I love making treat holders or centerpieces. For this challenge our sponsor,  Ink on 3, provided some fabulous cut files for us to use.  I made the teapot from the Pansy Tea Party 3D SVG set which can be found HERE.

This teapot is about 7" tall on a 4" square base.  I cut the file exactly as it came in the SVG file. It was so easy to cut and assemble.  I added a flower from my stash and some ribbon.  It can be used in so many ways:  centerpiece, treat holder, or gift box. Here is the entire set. My Besties International Challenge ~ reminder post

Hi Crafty Friends, I'm here to remind you that you still have time to enter My Besties International July challenge. The OPTIONAL theme is Summer.  You may use any image by any artist.

Years ago, when I first began card making, my bestie and I went on a 15 store "shop hop."  At each store we were given materials to make a 6x6 layout.  Since I don't really do albums, I still have some of the kits which I've been using to create cards LOL.  That being said, I have no idea of the paper manufacturer and I'm pretty sure the flowers are punches!  I do love the colors, though. My Fluffy Bestie was colored using Copic Markers. I hope you'll still join us for our June challenge.  Just follow the link at the top of the post.

Always Fun Challenge # 62 ~ For Dad

Hi Crafty Friends,
For this Always Fun Challenge we'd like to see a project made for a dad or any man in your life.
My brother-in-law's birthday is coming up so I made this card using components from a Bo Bunny kit I purchased a long time ago.  When you have lots of crafting on your plate, sometimes kits can be life savers!!

The Merry Christmas Challenge #23

Hi Crafty Friends,
The OPTIONAL theme for The Merry Christmas Challenge #23 is POLKA DOTS.
I think polka dotted patterned paper is my favorite.  I really gravitate to dots when laying out my papers.  Today I'm using some non traditional colors from my stash.

The sentiment is a die from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Dies2 set.  The snowflake is from an unbranded set.  I'm thinking I'll put together some more dotted cards in different colors for my holiday mailing.

Always Fun Challenge #61 ~ Summer Fun

Ahhh, summer is here and it's really letting northern California of its arrival = it's HOT!
The Always Fun Challenge this week is SUMMER FUN. Who doesn't love a carnival, right?

I used one of the images and several dies from LaLa Land Crafts May 2017 Club Kit.  I also added the stitched clouds and stitched tab border.  The patterned papers are from Authentique and I colored using Copic Markers.

Aloha Friday Challenge - mid inspiration reminder

Wow!  a third post for today.  This one is to remind you that you still have time to enter Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge #119.

I've used the Missing You image from our sponsor, Polkadoodles.

I used the Jaded Blossom Stitched Oval to create a window for this shaker card.  The sentiment is an IO die and the sequins are from Craftin Desert Divas.  I colored the image using Copic Markers.

Cut it Challenges #149

Hi Crafty Friends,
For challenge #149 at Cut it Up Challenges, we were asked to use a sketch.  I followed a sketch I found online by Sketch Saturday and followed it exactly except for adding the sentiment tag.

The image is a digi called Little League provided by our challenge sponsor, A Day for Daisies.
I colored using Copic Markers.  The papers are from a Graphic 45 Sports set.  I cut the star and tab using Jaded Blossom dies.  The border is a punch I've had forever!  The sentiment is from the Baseball set by Our Daily Bread Designs.

My Besties International Challenge ~ June

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's June and time for a new My Bestie International challenge. This month's OPTIONAL theme is Summer.
I've used a cute Bestie Fluffy to create my summer-themed card.

I have quite a stash of summer papers.  This two sided patterned sheet is by Bella Blvd.  The stitched sun and clouds are LaLa Land Craft dies and the waves, stitched oval and scalloped oval are all from Jaded Blossom.  I added Nuvo Crystal drops for bubbles and colored the Bestie image using Copic markers.
