Welcome Spring

Hi Crafty Friends,

The Delightful Challenges team is officially welcoming spring by making that our challenge this week.
My image is Strawberry Barnaby from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

This strawberry paper is from my stash, I knew I'd find the perfect image to go with it.  I inked the punched flowers to mimic those in the patterned paper.  The bee is a stamp I bought quite awhile back.  It came with the bee body.  It's called Skittle Bee from Pez-a-Doodles.  I used a 3-D gel pen after stamping the image.  Barnaby is colored with Copics with Wink of Stella glitter added to the wings.

Our challenge this week is sponsored by
A $15 store certificate is the prize.
Link your Welcome Spring project to our challenge blog, HERE, for a chance to win.

Thanks for stopping by and Welcome Spring!

She Loves Mustaches!

Good Sunday Morning, Crafty Friends!

My daughter absolutely loves the mustache craze and I try to make her things whenever an occasion arises.  Hubs drove down to southern California to meet up with her and the Texas Tech softball team she coaches so I made a little something to send along.

SVG Cutting Files.com has added a complete set of pop up box card files to the store.  Do they ever make creating these cuties easy!  Now you can spend your time working with goodies to go inside.  You can find the svg files HERE.  This delightful paper is from Canvas Corp and the embellishments are from various sticker sets.  All of the embellishments are mounted on clear acetate strips (leftover Spellbinders packaging).  I also used Bo Bunny double dot paper for the outside bottom panels.  This box closes to create a 5.25x6.25 card with all embellishment inside so when opened, it's a fun surprise.  I used my WR envelope board to make the perfectly sized envelope.
BtW, she loved it!

Have a beautiful day.

Fishing Donald - Wearing the Green

Our challenge at Delightful Challenges is "Wearing of the Green".  I decided to make a masculine card rather than another St. Patrick's Day card.  I'm using Fishing Donald from
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

All of the papers are from my craft stash.  I used Spellbinders Labels 11 for the mats and an Inky Antics stamp for the fish background.  I haven't decided on a sentiment yet.

You're invited to join our Wearing of the Green challenge.
Just link your card to the Delightful Challenges blog.  You do not have to use a Digital Delights image, any project that goes with the theme is accepted.
