Pearly Sparkles May Challenge ~ Clean and Simple

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for the Pearly Sparkles May challenge.
This month we'd like to see your Clean and Simple creations.
Here's my design team project using a wonderful stamp created by Jennifer Dove.Her stamps are now available at Whimsy Stamps.

Jennifer's stamps appear detailed but they are truly simple to color.  I used Copic markers.The frame is from Whimsy stamps.  I cut it out using card stock and then 3 layers of chip board to give the frame dimension.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps' Cute Cacti set.

Our Cut it Up challenge is "Masculine" and I just love these bright, fun papers from Doodlebug Designs.Of course, Jaded Blossom had the perfect dies and sentiment to make this card.

The sentiment is from Hey Batter.  I used the JB Sports Dies, Mini Tag Dies 3, Stitched Circle Dies, and Card Mat Die for this project.

Cut it Up Challenge #223 ~ How's the Weather

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for a new Cut it UP challenge.Our challenge is all about the weather.  Let's see clouds, umbrellas, sun, raindrops - anything spring-weather related.

Jaded Blossom ~ Summer Fun

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

As I shared in a previous post, some crafting friends and I challenged one another to make cards using an entire 6 x 6 paper pad.

I chose Echo Park's I Love Summer.  After looking through all the pattern papers I realized that I had the perfect Jaded Blossom Dies to help me complete this challenge.

Here are 5 of the individual cards I created.  I made a total of 11 but some of my fellow crafters made upwards of 25!  I used entire sheets for mats so my papers didn't go as far.  This was a fun challenge and I encourage you to try it.  You can find some adorable 6 x 6 pads in the Jaded Blossom store.

Jaded Blossom April Challenge ~ Use a Stencil

Hi Crafty Friends,
There's a new challenge on the Jaded Blossom Blog.We're using STENCILS!  I love that JB has now added an amazing line of stencils to their product line.They are perfect for creating your own custom backgrounds.
I've used the Coffee Bean Stencil and Coffee Stain Stencil to create this birthday card for my coffee loving daughter.

I used Distress Inks for the ink blending and Copic Markers to color the gnome.  The sentiment is heat embossed so it would pop a little.  I also added twine and Doodlebug Designs glitter sprinkles.

Some of gals on the Cut it Up Challenge Blog challenged one another to use an entire 6 x 6 paper pad to see how many cards we could make.  We all agreed that we have boxes full of these fun little tablets that really need to be used.
So, I used Echo Park's I Love Summer 6 x 6 pad.  I discovered just what a paper-waster I am!  EEEEK!  I guess it's because most of the time I create as I go and if I've cut something and it doesn't work for my "vision", I toss it and go at it again.
I made 11 A2 cards (far fewer than my fellow design team pals but for me it was pretty amazing.)

The entire set - I think they would all be good for summer-themed notecards.

I used a lot of my Jaded Blossom dies and a few LaLa Land Crafts (sandcastle and words.)

I also used a few of my OLD punches :)
