Pink and Pretty

One of my daughter's ballplayers celebrated her 21st birthday last week and I wanted to make a card for her.  She is an athlete, an amazing student, a hunter, and a girly girl - quite a combination, right?
I used an SVG cut file from Paper Crafting World so that I would have a project for today's
Terrific Tuesday at My Paper Crafting.  This cupcake collection is so much fun.  It comes with quite a variety of cakes, frostings, and candles so you have lots of choices in the type of cupcake you want.
You can find the cut file HERE.
for this project, I used:
Cut file - PCW Cupcakes-Assorted
Punch - Martha Stewart Border
Ribbon - American Crafts
Digi Paper - Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Pens - Copics
Embossing - Cuttlebug
Please join any or all of our Link Ups and Challenges at My Paper Crafting.
There will be one monthly grand prize winner along with invitations for Guest Designer spots and cut files or digi images of your choice.

Copic Class Projects

I'm flying home tomorrow so that I can teach my Copic class.  I hate missing two months in a row so it will be good to be home for a few days to check on the mail, etc. and see my Copic gals.
We're working on flowers this month so I'm using two of my favorite stamps.  Of course I can't remember the manufacturers (one is Penny Black, I'm pretty sure) and the stamps are at home - sorry!
I hope my gals will enjoy these creations.

Be sure to visit on Tuesday for another Terrific Tuesday using a Paper Crafting World cut file.

A Pedestal Card

for this week's Digi Desserts Fridaze at My Paper Crafting.
I used the Kitty image from Paper Crafting World.  The image also includes some sentiments although I used a rub-on for this project.  Since I'm still away from home, I've been using a lot of the patterned papers from the American Craft package that I brought with me.  I'm loving the bright, happy colors.  I have my Cuttlebug, too, so I can use my Spellbinders dies as well.
You still have time to join in our Link Up at Digi Desserts Fridaze.  We'll be taking entries until Midnight April 30.

Color My World

Today our challenge at Delightful Challenges is "Color My World."  We've be asked to create something colorful.  I brought along an American Crafts paper stack to use while crafting here at my daughter's.  Well, if you want colorful, AC paper is the way to go!
I've chosen Wendy's Water Turtle Myrtle image for my card.  This image lent itself well to using lots of colors.  I've also used the "Relax" sentiment from the Bookworm Sentiment Set.  The images can be found at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
You can join in our challenge at Delightful Challenges.  Just create something colorful.  You'll be entered to win a set of Spectrum Noir pens from
I will be entering this card in My Sheri Crafts challenge # 108.

So Many Candles

Yay!  It's Friday.  That means another Digi Desserts Fridaze post for My Paper Crafting.
I made this card for hubby's 70th birthday which we all celebrated together on Monday.
I thought the sentiment, which is a part of the digi file, was so perfect!!!!
I used the So Many Candles digital image from Paper Crafting World.  For this card I used the pre-colored version.  The papers and ribbon are from American Crafts.
I hope you'll visit My Paper Crafting to see more digi goodness from my digi designers and pick up your free digi download.  Remember that you have the entire month to link your own digi project to be eligible for April's prize package.

Terrific Tuesday

It's Terrific Tuesday at My Paper Crafting.  It's time for the design team members to share svg projects from Paper Crafting World.  For this challenge I chose the Spring Brown Bunnies Set and cut it out with my Pazzles.
There is one more bunny and some flowers also included in the set so it would be perfect for a page layout.  My card is 5x7.
The paper is American Craft as is the ribbon.
You can find the cut file HERE.
I hope you'll visit MPC to see more SVG creations and join in our link up.  Remember that you now have the entire month to link a project and then you'll be eligible for our monthly grand prize.

More to Celebrate

Happy Weekend Everyone!
It's a special one for me because we are in Texas with BOTH of our daughters celebrating the youngest's and hubby's birthdays.
I shared a birthday card yesterday and now I'm sharing a few more decorations.
Pazzles has just come out with a new CD/download called PARTIES.  It includes projects (cut files) for 6 different themes.  I used the Diva party to make these decorations.  Janna loves pink and black and animal print so the cut files were perfect.
Aren't these shoes the cutest things?  And they were quite easy to cut and assemble.

The "purse" was supposed to be a place card but I just enlarged it and used a flower instead of a name plate.  The flowers on the purse and shoes are more from my prize package of handmade flowers created by the talented Jani of Paper Compulsions - you must visit her blog, her flowers are amazing and there is a great tutorial.
And here's my birthday girl!
If you have a chance, please drop by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Today's post (Saturday Showcase) features My Paper Crafting and Paper Crafting World
Lisa does an amazing job showcasing different crafters, blogs, and techniques.  She truly is a gift to the crafting world with her kind words and willingness to share the talent of others.
I'm so glad to have met Lisa through her participation in Digi Desserts Fridaze.
She has something special to share everyday and a visit to her blog is worth it.
Have a wonderful weekend.  We had a special breakfast and now have two more Texas Tech softball games, a special dinner out tomorrow and just special moments with the ones we love.

Happy Birthday

It's Digi Desserts Fridaze at My Paper Crafting.
I've used one the the Word Art digis from Paper Crafting World to complete this birthday card for my youngest daughter who is flying in from Champaign, IL to join hubs and me at our other daughter's home in Lubbock, TX.
The card and envelope are from the new Pazzles CD, Parties.  I think the Happy Birthday Word Art image is the perfect way to complete the card.  This image comes pre-colored or line art.  I used the line art so that I could keep the pink and black theme using Copic markers and atYou Spica glitter pens.
Be sure to visit My Paper Crafting to see more digi creations and to read about our new prize guidelines for our Link Ups and Challenges.  The main change is that you'll have the entire month to link your projects to any of our Link Ups and Challenges with a super prize being awarded at the end of the month along with Top Choices and Guest Designer invitations.
You'll still be able to pick up free cut files, vintage graphics, and digis every week.
