This week's challenge for Delightful Challenges is "It's a Guy Thing." Time to be thinking about the perfect card for Father's Day, Graduation, and just something to let your favorite guy know you're thinking about him.
It's my turn for Hostess Monday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I want to show you a cute project I found in the summer issue of CardMaker Magazine. It's called a floral clutch card and I thought that the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Flower Background image would be perfect.
I've used Augustus the Dragon and the Castle for my card.
Here's a closer look:
Other supplies used include Spellbinders Lacy Square die, Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Die, Jaded Blossom Magical Memories stamp set, Elizabeth Craft Designs leaf die, and a delightful heart sent to me by a dear crafting friend. The images were colored with Copic markers.
We have 5 sponsors for this challenge which means you have 5 chances to win. You may also be selected as a design team favorite and have your project featured in our winner's post. Enter by using the OMCF link above.
There's also a DESIGN TEAM call for the next term at OMCF. It's a wonderful team so it would be great to have you apply.
Today is my design team day at Digi My World so I'd like to share a masculine card with you. I'm sure many of you are thinking ahead to your Father's Day creations and this fabulous set from Digi My World is perfect. I used two images from the Gone Fishing set.
This is a wonderful set with lots of images for you to choose from. I used the digital images but it also comes in clip art so all you have to do is print and cut!
I used papers from the DCWV Yee Haw stack. The dimensional stickers in the corners are from CTMH. I also added burlap and rafia to keep with the masculine distressed feel along with a burnished hook. The clouds are from the Memory Box cloud die set. All the coloring was done with Copic Markers.
I found the directions for this stair step card in the Summer 2014 issue of CardMaker magazine. The papers are from the Echo Park 6x6 Splash pad. I added Basic Grey candy buttons, a heat embossed sentiment and sparkly star from my stash. I colored the image with Copic markers.
This week's sponsor is Spectrum Noir and what a fabulous prize they're offering!
Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Digi My World. It's time to be thinking about sun, sand, and vacation.
Annie has designed the perfect set to celebrate those wonderful beach moments - LUAU - which can be found in the Digi My World store.
I imported two of the digis to create this card.
The papers and sentiment are from the Pink Paislee Nantucket set. I also added some American Crafts ribbon and Recollections pearls. The image is colored with Copic markers.
Thanks for taking a look. I encourage you to visit the DMW store where you'll find amazing digital art which is so much fun to color along with Clip Art designs, perfect for those of you who want to print and cut the precolored designs.
