Hostess Monday at Digital Delights

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my turn for Hostess Monday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I want to show you a cute project I found in the summer issue of CardMaker Magazine.  It's called a floral clutch card and I thought that the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Flower Background image would be perfect.

This is the image placed under the outside flap.  I used Copic markers to color the digi.

You can see the clutch shape using "mountain-valley folds.
The card base is 5.5 x 9, scored at 3, 3.5, 4 and 7

 Closed (using repositionable double-sided tape.

The inside - wouldn't this be perfect to slip in a gift card?

I hope you like my project.   Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Digi My World so I'd like to share a masculine card with you.  I'm sure many of you are thinking ahead to your Father's Day creations and this fabulous set from Digi My World is perfect.  I used two images from the Gone Fishing set.

This is a wonderful set with lots of images for you to choose from.  I used the digital images but it also comes in clip art so all you have to do is print and cut!

Hello Sunshine

Hi Crafty Friends,
We're finally home from our stay in Texas.  It took awhile to get unpacked and get all my crafty supplies put away in their proper place.  It feels good to create in my own crafty space!
Today's challenge for Delightful Challenges is "Hello Sunshine."  The theme is really open to your interpretation.  I'm using the July Cupcake set from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
I found the directions for this stair step card in the Summer 2014 issue of CardMaker magazine.  The papers are from the Echo Park 6x6 Splash pad.  I added Basic Grey candy buttons, a heat embossed sentiment and sparkly star from my stash.  I colored the image with Copic markers.
This week's sponsor is Spectrum Noir and what a fabulous prize they're offering!

Aloha!

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is my design team day at Digi My World.  It's time to be thinking about sun, sand, and vacation.
Annie has designed the perfect set to celebrate those wonderful beach moments - LUAU - which can be found in the Digi My World store.

I imported two of the digis to create this card.
The papers and sentiment are from the Pink Paislee Nantucket set.  I also added some American Crafts ribbon and Recollections pearls.  The image is colored with Copic markers.

Thanks for taking a look.  I encourage you to visit the DMW store where you'll find amazing digital art which is so much fun to color along with Clip Art designs, perfect for those of you who want to print and cut  the precolored designs.
