You're Sun Thing Special!

Good Morning Friends,

It's Digi Desserts Fridaze at My Paper Crafting.

I love being able to feature one of Melin's digital images each week.
I hope you'll visit Paper Crafting World and see all that are available along with some fantastic cut files.

Today's project features a newer digi called You're Sun Thing Special which can be purchased by
clicking HERE (and it's only $1).

I colored the sun with Copic markers and then used my Sakura 3-D Glaze pens for the sentiment and Mr. Sun's glasses.  The ribbon is American Crafts, the flower by Jani at Paper Compulsions, and the leaves are one of Elizabeth Crafts new dies.

I hope you'll visit My Paper Crafting and leave a little love for the rest of the digi gals who are sharing some great projects.

I'll be back Tuesday for Terrific Tuesday sharing another cut file from Paper Crafting World and on Thursday I'll be sharing one of the new releases from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
Of course, there will be another Digi Desserts Fridaze on Friday.

For Dad

Today, at Delightful Challenges, we're celebrating DAD.  The challenge this week is to create something for your dad or a man who holds a special spot in your life.
I used the new Walking the Dog digi from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  The sentiment is from the Keeping in Touch Sentiment Set.  You can see each image by clicking the image name.

I followed the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday challenge.  Besides the different papers, all I really did was add quite a bit of inking using VersaMagic chalk ink.

I hope you'll join in this week's challenge sponsored by
Just link your DAD project HERE

I will be entering the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #295,
Creative Craft Challenges 2 #11 for the Fellas,
and Digi Darla's Challenges #64 Father's Day

Wonderful Wednesday

Good Morning Crafty Friends!
It's time for "Crafts with Cutters" Wonderful Wednesday at
My Paper Crafting.
This week's theme is PEARLS
For my project I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge and adhesive pearl bling from Want2Scrap.

I cut out 4 of the flowers, dampened them and then stacked and scrunched.  After the flower dried I added some Stickles to the edges and adhered the flower to crinkle ribbon that I hand died.

For more ideas using Cricut cartridges and to enter our PEARL challenge, be sure to visit
My Paper Crafting.

for DAD

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Wow!  4 posts in a row after taking a frustrating break - it feels great!!!
Today is Digi Desserts Fridaze at My Paper Crafting.
Melin (owner, artist at Paper Crafting World) has an entire set of adorable characters called QT Patooties.  She's added several boys to the set and I'm sharing QT Patootie Boy in Dad's Clothes -
 so cute!

I hand cut the banner flags and added letter stickers that I've had since before getting a Cricut (does that tell you how long they've been around? LOL)

Please visit My Paper Crafting so see more PCW digis.  There are some fabulous projects created by my design team gals.

Of course, there will be a free digi for you to download and hopefully share with us by linking to the blog.

Celebrate Friendship

It's time for the weekly challenge at Delightful Challenges.
This week we are celebrating FRIENDSHIP.

I'm using Flower Power Basket of Daisies and a sentiment from the
Both can be found at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I've had these papers in my stash forever.  They're by Bo Bunny.  I also had a package of bright yellow daisy doilies that I think made a great mat.  The daisy stickers are from Jolee's (another find in my crafty stash!).  I used Spellbinders Labels 11 for the image and sentiment mats and VersaMagic Chalk Ink.

I hope you'll join us at Delightful Challenges for our Celebrate Friendship challenge.
This week's sponsor is
and the prize is

I'll be entering this card in the Divas by Design Friendship challenge and
Cute Card Thursday Use Ribbon challenge.

Cricut Wednesday

I haven't used my Cricut is sooooo long!  When we traveled to Texas for our 6 week stay, I took my Pazzles with me so I haven't posted a Cricut project in quite awhile.

The My Paper Crafting theme for Cricut Wednesday is PINK and, boy, did I do PINK!!!

For this bottom fold card, I welded two of the Accent 1 layers together from the Artiste cartridge.  The scalloped oval is the shift image from that same Accent 1 found on page 32.  I also sized the same shape for the patterned paper mat.  The image is a Vintage Grapic from Paper Crafting World.
A little inking and doodling, some pearls, ribbon, and a crocheted flower that I've had forever finished the card.

You'll see more great Cricut projects at My Paper Crafting and I'd like to invite you to join our
PINK challenge.

It's Terrific Tuesday

and I'm finally back with an SVG post for My Paper Crafting.
I've used the Flowers 2 cut file from Paper Crafting World which I cut with my Pazzles.

The papers are from Close to My Heart.  I added nailheads and lace ribbon from Paper Studio. I added dimension to the flower centers with dots of Liquid Pearls. The card is a gatefold style.

Please visit My Paper Crafting for more ideas using cut files.  PCW cut files support almost every cutting machine (Pazzles, Cameo, etc).  You can also pick up a free cut file and read how to enter to win May's Prize Package.

So glad to be back.  Come back tomorrow for Cricut Wednesday.

I'm Back!!!

Wow!  I have missed over a week of posting and I'm so happy to be back.
I had to replace the mother board in my laptop so I've been away from the blog.

At least I was able to somewhat keep up with my cyber friends using my Kindle.

I have 4 design team posts due for next week so I'd best get busy.
Just wanted to let you know that I'm back from Texas and finally back on my blog so stay tuned for some new projects.

Immeasurably Loved

I've had this sweet image from Paper Crafting World for quite awhile and decided it was perfect to create this Mother's Day card for a dear friend as well as share it for my
Digi Desserts Fridaze at My Paper Crafting project.

I colored the image with Copic markers and used an atYou Spica glitter pen for the gold lettering and to highlight the measuring tape.  The flower is another from my handmade flowers collection created by Jani at Paper Compulsions.  The paper and ribbon is from my craft stash.

I hope you'll visit My Paper Crafting to see more digi goodness from the design team.  There's a new prize package for May and you can be eligible to win just by linking up to one or all all of our challenges.  Of course, there will be free files for you to download, too.

We're home from our extended visit in Texas so now it's time to unpack, get the house back to normal and then get my craft room reorganzied.

Stash It!

What a great challenge by the Delightful Challenges design team.
Since I've been crafting away from home for the last month, I'm only using supplies that I brought from home.
Hubby let me fill the back of the pick up with crafting supplies since he gets to haul his quad and other "man-stuff" in the utility trailer. So EVERYTHING used for this card is from my craft stash except the
adorable image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

Here's my STASH IT project for this week's challenge.
Strawberry Delight by Larelyn
I used the Strawberry Delight Value Set which can be purchased
HERE
This is the complete set:
Strawberry Delight Value set

I could have used the sentiment but I chose a sticker from my stash instead, LOL!

I hope you'll join in the Delightful Challenges STASH IT challenge.  Just add you project to the link at the bottom of the Delightful Challenges blog.
You do not have to use an image from Digital Delights.  However, if you do, you may enter THAT project twice (see blog for details).  Except for the Digital Delights image double entry, you may only link ONE project.

This week's prize sponsor is
The prize is a $15 gift certificate

Such a great image for Cinco de Mayo, don't you think?

I hope you'll visit DDF at My Paper Crafting to see even more digi goodness.  We'd love to have you link your own digi project as well.

I think this card is perfect for the 613 Avenue Create photo inspiration challenge.
