New Challenge at Delightful Challenges and a New Release

Time to reveal the May release at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
The Delightful Challenges designers are debuting the images today so be sure to visit the blog to see the entire release.  The challenge for this week is "Add Dimension."

I'm using Movie Night Sweeney Skunk and the Movie Night Accessory set.

I've created dimension by layering my Paper Studio "Eat Cake" patterned papers, popping up the banner to which I added brads and Twendy Twine.  I also layered the digital images and placed the sentiment on a button. Finally, I added Glossy Accents to Sweeney's 3-D glasses.

Baseball Bear

Hello Crafty Friends,

For the Catch a Wave Blog Hop, click HERE

Time for Challenge #9 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.  This challenge is about sports or activities.  We have four different sponsors who have provided our images.
My image - Baseball Bear - comes from Stitchy Bear Images.
Isn't he just so cute?  I found the paper at my local scrapbook store.  It's by Splash of Color with the accent piece from Authentique.  The stars were punched and the buttons from my stash.  I colored Baseball Bear with Copic markers.
Be sure to head to Open-Minded Crafting Fun so see more projects from Stitchy Bear along with our other three sponsors.  If you enter, you'll have 4 chances to win.  And, did you know that following each challenge, the design team members each select their favorite projects from those that are entered.  These are featured on the blog the Saturday following the close of the challenge.  We've had some amazing projects shared and appreciate the many participants.

Catch A Wave Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to Digi My World's Catch a Wave Blog hop!
It's time for our April release!  We are so over WINTER and wanted to bring some warm sunshine and activities your way!  So sit back, relax and enjoy the inspiring creations the teams have made using the latest Digi My World Digital Stamps!

We are releasing 4 new digital stamps and  5 colored clipart for this hop!

You should have come here from Barb at BugBites, if not, you may want to start at the beginning with Digi My World! --but I have a complete blog hop line up at the bottom of my post.

And now for my project!

I absolutely adore the I Work Out set.  I had used the cut files from SVG Cutting Files to make a mini album for my daughter awhile back.  Now Annie has created the files as digis and clip art so, of course, I had to create something from the set.

I made this cute tag to go on a package of Pocket Protein - a great gift for the girl who loves to work out.  I used the Treat Tag Die from Jaded Blossom for the base (paper by American Crafts) and then added the sentiment to one of Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag dies.  The sentiment if from Jaded Blossom's Fitness Junkie stamp set.
I died the crinkle ribbon myself using Distress Ink and Hug Snug seam binding adding some Twendy Twine to the bow.  The image is colored with Copic markers

Have a Super Day, MOM

For this week's challenge at Delightful Challenges, I decided to do a little something different for our
"Love You, Mom" challenge.
I love the Super Hero kids from Digital Delights by Louby Loo so to honor all the Super Moms out there, I created my card using Super Samantha.

I used papers from the Authentique "Glory" set.  The sentiment is from the Super Heroes sentiment set. The bling is from Bo Bunny and the border is a Spellbinders die.  Samantha is colored with Copic markers.

Come To My Garden

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope you all enjoyed this past week.  I'm in Texas with my daughter so these past few weeks have been very special.  I love when we can share holidays and/or spring break together.

For today's post on the Digi My World design team blog, I'm using the Come to My Garden image from Digi My World.

I have always loved this poem and it's so appropriate for this time of year.
I've used Copic markers for the image and atYou Spica glitter pens on the sentiment.
The papers are from Authentique - one of my favorite paper brands.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Be sure to join the DMW design team members for our new release blog hop
on Friday beginning at 12 AM PST.
Annie has created some amazing sets which come in both digital art and clip art.  You'll want them all!

For my card, I've chosen Dixie Bunny from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

Piggy Dreams

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

It's time for challenge #8 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.  Wow!  Our 8th challenge already.  We've had such wonderful participation.  I hope you've been joining in the fun.  Remember, there are at least four sponsors for every challenge which means you have at least four chances win!

My sponsor image is from 2 Cute ink.  This sweet little image is called Piggy Dreams, just perfect for our Easter or Pastel Colors challenge.

I've used papers from DCWV Nana's Baby stack, ribbon from my stash (purchased at our local flea market) and clear dots.  The flourish was sent to me by a dear crafting friend who keeps me supplied in delightful die cuts (thanks Sandy).

I colored the image with Copic markers.  I tried a little bit different background.  After using B0000 to bring out the focal image, I masked the image and added the subtle dots that I had punched in the mask.

Here's a list of our challenge #8 sponsors:

Let it Rain

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my design team day at Digi My World.   I'm sharing one of the adorable "Let it Rain Chelsea" images from the Digi My World store.  I love that the set includes a sentiment.  I think it's one we can all take to heart!

I colored Chelsea with Copic markers.  The paper is Echo Park.  The raindrops are from my stash.  I finished the card with a little twine bow and another raindrop.

Here are all the images that come with this darling set:

What the French Toast!?

Hi Crafty Friends,
Sorry I've been away for a bit.  We were driving to Texas to spend some time with our daughter.  We arrived Sunday and I have my temporary craft area set up so I've been creating.
Today is hubby's birthday so I used some cut files from SVG Cutting Files and got busy with the Silhouette.  Hubs loves Hershey Nuggets so how perfect are these little treat boxes?
This is the Candle Nugget Box (it has 6 different fronts!).
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's So Many Birthdays set.  The paper is American Craft and the twine is from The Twinery.

This little treat box uses two of the newest cut files, Nugget Easel Drawer Box and Kawaii Wine Glasses (I didn't use the Kawaii faces).  The sentiment is another from Jaded Blossom's So Many Birthdays set.
This morning my daughter asked me to make a card for one of her players who got hurt this weekend.  I wanted it to be fun and make her laugh.  What do you think?
I used the Kawaii French Toast file and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Kawaii Sentiments.  The papers are Bo Bunny Double Dots and Bella Blvd.
Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back on my regular posting schedule this week with a new post for Digi My World tomorrow, Delightful Challenges on Thursday, and Open-Minded Crafting Fun on Saturday.
