Cut it Up Challenge #363 ~ Moving Along (transportation)

Hi Crafty Friends,

The next challenge at Cut it Up Challenges is "Moving Along" thinking about means/modes of transportation.  It's fine to use the theme creatively.

Here's my card using a stamp/stencil/die set from Pinkfresh Studios called True Classic.

I created the background using a multi-use stencil from Scrapbook.com called "Outdoors."

I hope you'll join us for this challenge.  Add your photo using the link above.

The Male Room August Challenge #213 ~ Jobs/Professions

Hi Crafty Friends,

I'm sharing my The Male Room masculine challenge card for August.
Our theme is Jobs/Professions.

Who doesn't love their postman?  I created this card for our mailman who will be retiring soon.
He will be missed and he takes the time to get to know all the neighbors and goes out of his way to provide excellent service beyond placing mail in the neighborhood box.

I've used several products from LaLa Land Crafts: Happy Mail Club Kit and Christmas Postcard Background stamp.  The image was colored using Copic Markers.

We'd love to have you play along.

Moving Along with the Times ~ August Challenge ~ Feminine

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for another Moving Along with the Times challenge.  This month we're asking for feminine cards.

I had fun with a "new to me" die and stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio.

I truly enjoy using Pinkfresh Studio products.  Their amazing stencils make adding color so easy.  And, if you haven't tried any of their all at once dies ~ well, they're amazing.

I cut three sets of this die so I could stack them to add dimension.  I had the glittered mat in my Pinkfresh stash.  That, and a few gems was all this card needed.

Pinkfresh products used:
Ornate Rectangle Frames, Rising Wildflowers die and stencils, Extra Special sentiment stamp/die set and Glacier Glittered cardstock.  I also used Pinkfresh ink cubes.

Hope you'll play along this month.

BYSHcardmakers Sketch Challenge # 72 ~ August

Hi Crafty Friends,

We have a new sketch for you at BYSHcardmakers.

You'll find lots of inspiration throughout the month on our blog linked above and also on our Facebook page where you can link up your own entries HERE.

Here's my first design team card for this challenge.

I used a technique shared by Gina K in which you use patterned paper with a 3D embossing folder and then drag white across the embossed image.  I used the Spellbinders Pine Boughs 3D embossing folder and some design paper from my stash.  I used Jaded Blossom's Border dies to create the center panel and Echo Park patterned papers for the insert.  The sentiment was stamped on a JB mini tag die 2.  It's from The Stamp Market.  The snowflake was in my stash.

Here's the sketch for your inspiration.
