Delightful Thursday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for another for Digital Delights design team post.  Today I'm using Soccer Scottie from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  It's a birthday card for my grand nephew who played soccer for the first time this year.
I used Copic Marker to color Scottie.  The sentiment and flag die are from Jaded Blossom.

Be sure to stop by the Digital Delights blog for more fun and fabulous projects.  There is something special everyday.

Spring Challenge project

Hi Crafty Friends,
SVG Cutting Files has announced the February challenge - make a spring treat.  I made this quick and easy Easter Playing Card Box.  There are 3 in the set but I chose the bunny for today's project.

I cut two of the boxes; one from plain card stock and the other from patterned paper so I could add it as a front cover.  This goes together so quickly.  I just added grass from Jaded Blossom's Spring Dies, some sequins, and a dimensional egg I had in my stash.  That's it!  Cute and oh so easy.

You can read the challenge details HERE.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi Crafty Friends,
Just thought I'd drop in and share two V-day goodies I made using cut files from the Sweets for My Sweet blog hop sponsored by Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files.  Unfortunately, the hop is past and the files are no longer available.

I loved the hop project featuring the Cupid Minion with a Twinkie treat.  Here's my version:
I put two Twinkies in a Jaded Blossom gusset bag and place the bag in the Decorative Edge box for gussets.

And who can resist Ms Green M&M?
I found some yummy dark chocolate mint green M&Ms to place in Jaded Blossom's new gable box - part of their new release.

I'm going to enter these projects in SVG Cutting Files monthly challenge.

We're Like Peas and Carrots

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Delightful Thursday and time to post on the Digital Delights Blog.
Today I'm using an image from the Peas and Carrots set by Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
This set comes with the image, the sentiment, and digital patterned papers (didn't use those) so it's a real bargain!

I used Jaded Blossom flag dies for the sentiment, some twine and gems, and the Martha Stewart branch punch to embellish this sweet little card.  Of course I used Copic markers to color the image.

Here's what the set looks like:

Hugs and Kisses

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my design team day on the  Digi My World blog.  I've used a simple layout for this card - it really suits my need for lots of right angles LOL.  This image is from the I Pick You set in the Digi My World store.  It also comes in clip art and printable files - woohoo!

Not too much to embellish this card beyond the paper layers (which I love to do).  I used the Hugs & Kisses Cuttlebug embossing folder and added some Recollections gems.  The sweet image is colored with Copic markers on Cryogen paper (my favorite blending card stock).

It's Hump Day (Mike, Mike, Mike) so have a great one!

New Release at Digital Delights

Hi Crafty Friends,
I love the first Thursday of each month because it means a new release at
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

This is Pirate Mitzy:

The pirate ship and layered waves are from the Silhouette Online Store.  The embossing folder is Clouds by Darice and the flags are a die from LaLa Land.  I colored Mitzy with Copics.

Here is the entire release:

You'll find more projects on the Design Team blog HERE.
