Cut it Up Challenge #340 ~ Use More Than One Die

The Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge ~ October

Hi Crafty Friends,

October's Festive Friday Challenge is open.  We have 4 theme choices for you:

For this month, I have chosen to create an Autumn card using products from some of my favorite companies.  I've also used a number of techniques: stenciling, stamping, 3D dry embossing, heat embossing, and die cutting.

Moving Along with the Times October Challenge ~ Sentiment as Focal Point

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's my second project as a designer for Moving Along with the Times.

This month we're asking you to use a sentiment as your main focal point.

This was an easy card to create using just the Betterpress set, Thank You Blooms.  I also used Betterpress cotton paper and Betterpress inks.  My choice of mats help bring out the colors.

Hi Crafty Friends,

If you haven't started your Christmas cards, now is a good time.
This month's sketch at BYSH is great for mass production.


Once again I've used a Betterpress set, Essential Tag Accessories.  The DSP papers are from Echo Park, Christmas Joy 6x6 pad.  I also used Gina K Designs Master Layout 2 to die cut the mats

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Sketch Challenge #61 ~ Card 2

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another Christmas card to share with you for the BYSHcardmakers sketch challenge #61




I've used some beautiful DSP paper from Lala Land Crafts Winter Song pack and a fun 3D embossing folder from Altenew, Perfect Poinsettia.  I thought that adding a little inking added to the background and vibe of the paper.  This is a great design for batch card making.

Cut it Up Challenge #339 ~ It Looks Like Fall

Hi Crafty Friends,

We are just a few days away from the first day of fall in the USA so it's fitting that our Cut it Up Challenge #339 theme is IT LOOKS LIKE FALL.

Here's my project.


For this card, I used Gina K inks to blend the background then stamped over it with Taylored Expressions Fineline Script background stamp and white ink.  The leaves were cut using Jaded Blossom's Fancy Leaves dies.  I added a cute little tag with a vellum shadow and a JB sentiment.

Here's my project - still working on my holiday card stash.


I had some left-overs from a previous project so I used them for the background.  The color guided my ink choices.  These are the products I used:

Cut it Up Challenge #335 ~ Monochrome

Hi Crafty Friends,

The next theme for Cut it Up Challenge #335 is MONOCHROME.

Here's my card using a color family I ordinarily wouldn't choose, shades of green.
I like green but don't usually choose it as the focus color, so this card was out of my comfort zone.
Of course, that's the fun of crafting, to challenge yourself do something different.

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's my second card for the BYSHcardmakers July Sketch challenge #59.

This is a simple card that lends itself well to creating multiples.
I used patterned paper that has been in my stash for years.  The embellishments are from Echo Park, one of their Chipboard frames sets.  Two strips of plain cardstock and, wa-la, a finished card.

1 stitched element - Most of the Jaded Blossom dies have stitching
