Hi Crafty Friends,
Today's Always Fun Challenge is Anything Goes.
As many of you know (through my blog posts) this month was wedding month for our daughter. She was married on September 9. Two of her favorite people were unable to attend because of illness so I wanted to make them "Thinking of You" cards. I am fortunate enough to live close to a scrapbook store that has monthly trunk shows for La La Land Crafts. Along with her fabulous products, Irina also offers a make and take. This card was inspired by one of those. All of the dies and stamp are from La La Land Crafts.
Sadly, this will be my final project for the Always Fun Challenge Blog. I've really enjoyed sharing my weekly designs and appreciate Amy and how well she organizes and supports her design teams. I hope you'll continue to join the weekly challenges.
I'm cutting back on some of my teams - there are so many techniques I want to try and ideas floating in my head. I plan on taking some time to just PLAY in my craft room!
Hi Crafty Friends,
This is your mid inspiration reminder that there is still time to join the
Aloha Friday Challenge for Kitty Bee Designs.
This challenge is Kiddy Cards and our sponsor, The Paper Shelter, provided this image.
I CASED this design idea from GiGi, a designer for Jaded Blossom. She made a set of baby shower invitations using 3 different JB stamp sets. I thought it was so clever so I decided this image would lend itself well for a Pizza Party Invitation. I colored with Copic markers and added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen accents.
You still have almost two weeks to join in our challenge so please follow the link above. Can't wait to see your creation.
Hi Crafty Friends,
We're sharing food and drink creations for this challenge at My Time to Craft.
I have a weakness for foo foo coffee drinks so I love the Coffee Dies from Jaded Blossom. I also love Doodlebug Designs theme papers so I really enjoyed making this card.
I think this sentiment from JB's Coffee Break is perfect partner for the Cutplorations Oh frap! die.
I hope you'll play along with this challenge. Just follow the MTTC link above.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOW GOING LIVE WITH OUR MTTC CHALLENGES ON FRIDAYS.
Hi Crafty Friends,
We are sharing bags or boxes for Cut it Up Challenge #157.
Our wonderful sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, provided files for us to use in this challenge. I chose to use Regina's FRY BOX file. I'm using the plain fry box so that I could decorate it in any style. Since I just purchased a giant bag of mini candy bars I decided to make a Halloween treat box.
I used several dies from LaLa Land Crafts for the Halloween embellishments and then added a Jaded Blossom sentiment from the "Pick Your Poison" set stamped onto a JB Word Bubble.

Coming on September 28!! You won't want to miss it.
Hi Crafty Friends,
For today's Always Fun Challenge, we're sharing projects using fall colors.
I have had this Penny Black stamps for a very long time and never got around to using it. I needed to make a sympathy card so I decided that the stamp would be the focus. I stamped on water color paper and used my Zig Clean Color brush pens to color. I think the branch die cut finished the card nicely.
I hope you'll join in our challenge by following the link above.
Hi Crafty Friends,
I'd like to share my card for this month's
The Merry Christmas Challenge.
This is such a cute image and sentiment. I plan to make multiples of this one.
Remember that our challenge runs for the entire month so you'll have plenty of time to enter.
Just follow the link above.
Hi Crafty Friends,
For our Always Fun Challenge this week, we're making scenes. I love creating scenes using the amazing LaLa Land Crafts dies. Since I'm working to stay ahead of my Christmas cards, I used some LLLC Christmas dies.
I love these deer dies from several years ago and the tree is so versatile as well. I just added the Christmas star and a snow bank using a border die a called it done. To make it little more elegant, I used gorgeous linen and pearl papers. LLLC dies cut to perfectly through these papers.
I hope you'll play along with us this week.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for another challenge on my newest team My Time to Craft.
Our theme is Under the Sea.
For my project I've used several stamp sets.
I used a monthly club kit from Simon Says Stamp called SAILING which included the sailboat die and several stamps from LaLa Land Crafts' background stamp set, MY ANCHOR.
Just follow the link above to join in this new challenge.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Here's another challenge from Cut it Up Challenge Blog.
Our theme is Birthdays. You can never have enough Birthday cards in your stash. I know my hubby and daughters always ask to see my Bday stash when they need a card and, yes, they've even chosen ones to give back to ME!
Here's my card using the Birthday Frog image from our sponsor, A Day for Daisies.
I've been trying to use some new techniques and or supplies that I have. On today's card I used the Birthday Balloon Stencil from Craftin Desert Divas for my background. The frog was colored using Copic markers and then I added Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle to the hat along with some polka dots made using a Signo white gel pen.
Come on over to Cut it Up Challenge Blog and join in the fun.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Do you love shaker cards? I think they are so much fun to receive and give.
For Always Fun Challenges this week we're sharing shaker cards.
I used Jaded Blossom Stitched rectangles to create this fun fall card. The leaves are dies from LaLa Land Crafts and the sequins are a mix from Craftin Desert Divas - three of my favorite companies.
I hope you'll join in this fun shaker card challenge. Just follow the link above.
