Cut it Up Challenge #288 ~ Favorite Color(s)

Hi Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge posting on the Cut it Up Challenge Blog.Our theme is Favorite Color(s).
I love purples - all shades. But, if you add a touch of green, I'm in heaven!!
My bestie gifted me some new dies so I used the florals from the Crafter's Companion Mailbox Flowers die set. I also used the envelope from a Pinkfresh Studio Connect and Create exclusive set, and the postage stamp dies from LaLa Land Crafts.

I die cut the florals using 110# Neenah Solar Crest and then colored them using Copic Markers.I learned a trick for adding lots of die cuts onto the project. After I placed the pieces where I wanted them, I used Press and Seal to pick up grouping. I turned it over to apply adhesive and then placed it back onto my project. I only had to add a little more adhesive to front flower.

Pearly Sparkles October Challenge ~ Let's Get Cute!

Hi Crafty Friends,
How can it already be October?? I think time travels at double speed when you're my age - ugh!!
Time for a new challenge at Pearly Sparkles. Our theme this month is"Let's Get Cute."
Once again I'm using an idea shared by Tamara during the LaLa Land Crafts Christmas in July Workshop.Of course I changed a few things when I created my own card.Isn't this hippo the cutest? LLLC has the best critters to stamp and color.I used my Zig Clean Color water color pens to color this image.

Cut it Up Challenge #287 ~ Inspired by a Book or Song

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for a new Cut it Up challenge. For challenge #287, we are getting our inspiration from a Book or Song. My card is inspired by the Perry Como (I know, I'm dating myself!) song, Home For the Holidays.
My design is inspired by a card we created in the Christmas in July Workshop put on by LaLa Land Crafts.

Cut it Up Challenge #286 ~ Back to School

Hi Crafty Friends,
We're ready for a new challenge at Cut it Up. Challenge #286 is Back to School.I have to admit, I'm having more fun creating cards and treats for back to school as opposed to getting a classroom ready for a new year. I loved my 37+ years in education but retirement is also a really great state of mind!!!
Here's a fun slimline card using clipart images from Last Minute Manda. I'm on the LMM clipart team and I've been having fun using pre-colored images. I love Copic coloring but sometimes you need a quick image(s) to add to a project so these are perfect. The card mat is a die from Whimsy Stamps and the sentiment is a Jaded Blossom set. I cut the printed images out using a Scan N Cut.

Pearly Sparkles September Challenge ~ Traci's Recipe: Pink, Pearls, and/or Sparkles

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for our annual "Traci's Recipe" challenge at Pearly Sparkles.This challenge is in remembrance of our original blog owner. Traci loved creating anything that was pink and had pearls or sparkles.
I used a Pinkfresh Studio layered stencil and die set to create this friendship card.

I used Altenew ink mini ink cubes for the stenciling.
