Cut it Up Challenge #249 ~ Easter or Make Your Own Background

Hi Crafty Friends,
For this Cut it Up Challenge you have a choice: Easter or Make Your Own Background.Of course, I decided to incorporate both themes into my card :)
Our challenge sponsor, DRS Designs, provided this sweet stamp, Tails Up Bunny, for me to use.

I used the Jaded Blossom Cloud stencil to create my background.  The card mat die is from Pretty Pink Posh.  I cut it out in both pink and green and then fussy cut the leaves and paper pieced back onto the pink mat.  The image was colored using Copic markers.  I added a Jaded Blossom sentiment and a few sequins to finish the card.

Jaded Blossom April Challenge ~ Use a Banner

It's time for a new challenge at Jaded Blossom.
Our theme for April is "use a banner."  JB has so many banner dies to choose from, both sentiment and theme-based.  Here's my project using one of the banners in the Spring Banner Dies collection.

Passionate Paper Creations & Friends ~ Joy Clair Sponsorhsip

I was given two digital stamp sets to work with.  These stamps are especially wonderful to use to create simple, yet elegant, cards.  

I used the TRULY INSPIRE set for this card.  I love using simple gold mats with elegant linen paper which I die cut using a stitched circle and scored around the edge.  I used Copic markers to add a little bit of color and shading.

This card was designed using the ALWAYS IN STYLE set.  I die cut using Whimsy Stamps Envelope Edger Die set.  A little bit of Copic coloring and a satin ribbon was all that was needed to finish this card.

Pearly Sparkles April Challenge ~ Anything BUT a Card

It's time for a new monthly challenge at Pearly Sparkles.This month we're asking you to share anything BUT a card.  Yay!  It's time to show us other crafty things you enjoy making.
I love treat boxes.  They are fun to make and I hope they are enjoyed by their recipients.Here's a cute little Easter basket I made using stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom.

I used the Octagon Treat Box die set along with the Spring Clear Jar Add On stamp set.  The peeps were colored using Copic Markers.  Everything was cut using the Gemini Jr..

I actually had the frame in my stash of extra cuts from a previous project.  I ran the triangles through my Cuttlebug using the dotted swiss embossing folder and then mounted the frame and triangles over a mat cut from the Doodlebug Designs Easter pad.  The peeps were stamped and then fussy cut - easy peasy.  I just added the sentiment with an offset and some baker's twine.

Cut it Up Challenge #248 ~ Spring

Woohoo!  We're celebrating the arrival of spring at Cut it Up Challenges.

Here's my card using the Spring Spray stamp set and coordinating die, and the Circles Masking Stencil set (LOVE!)

I heat embossed the image on watercolor paper and then painted with Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints.I used the masking stencil and the Jaded Blossom cloud stencil to create the background.  I also did some ink blending on the background and patterned paper edges.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Basic Word Die set. Finally, I added a few sequins to add a touch of bling.

It's my design team day on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

Today I'm sharing an Easter card. The new release gave me an opportunity to make a number of Easter treats and decorations, but I also need a few more cards.
