Pearly Sparkles November Challenge ~ Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to the final challenge of 2021 for Pearly Sparkles.
Our theme for November is CHRISTMAS.

I love the simple elegance of this card.  Often times it's the paper selection that makes the card.I used a heavy weight red shimmer card stock to emboss this amazing 3D folder from Altenew.  Then I used a small sponge blender to add the touches of gold.  The embossed sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.  I used gold foil card stock and gold shimmer card stock for the mats.

I also used Whimsy Stamps' Shaker Maker Rectangle die for the frame and Jaded Blossom's Fall Dies, and Fall Banner Dies for the embellishments.  The image was colored using Copic Markers.

Peace on Earth

It's my day to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog.
I'm continuing to use my blog post days to share Christmas cards.  That way I should be ready once it's time to get the cards in the mail.
Today's project is a little more subtle when it comes to Christmas cards but I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

The image was stamped and then heat embossed over the ink blended background.  After I placed the stamped image I die cut the stars and added  gold glimmer cardstock behind the stars.  Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a velum strip and wrapped it around before adding the card face to the mats.

I love using napkin rings/holders for our holiday table.  I was looking through my dies and saw the Coffee Slider Die Wrap and thought, why not! I think these will look nice placed on the dinner plates for our Thanksgiving celebration.  I just have to decide which color napkin to use LOL.

Cut it Up Challenge #236 ~ PINK

Hi Crafty  Friends,
Our Cut it Up Challenge #236 is all about PINK!  Be sure to use pink on your project along with a die cut.
Here's my card using several stamps from our challenge sponsor,CAS-ual Fridays.

The sentiment is a combination of two sets; Flower Duo and Hope Ribbon Stamps

The small flower is also a part of the Flower Duo (die included.)

The inside background mat was stamped using the Flowery Background stamp.I also used Altenew's Daisy 3D embossing folder for the front mat and Jaded Blossom's Panel Die for the sentiment strip.
