Here's my project using the Loving Paws set (colored version).

A Little Coloring Fun

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was at an all-day crop at my LCC and spent most of my time coloring.  I'm "training" for some marathon coloring so that I'll be in shape for Jennifer Dove's Copic Boot Camp in November.  That will be 4 straight days of coloring, coloring, coloring.  For Boot Camp we can reserve times with a masseuse - what does that tell you???  I can't wait.
Anyway, here are two projects I created using CC Designs/DoveArt stamps which were designed by Jennifer Dove.

This stamp is Making a List.  I just love this traditional style Santa.

This is Cardinal Birdhouse.   Since I took the pictures with my phone during the crop and didn't edit, you might not notice that I used Stardust Stickles for the snow.  When I color this image again, I'll used Frosted Lace instead.  Jennifer's stamps are so much fun to color.  I'm so excited for Boot Camp and can't wait to meet her in person and learn firsthand her amazing coloring techniques.

Cut it Up Challenge #105

Hi Crafty Friends, It's time to have some fun with our Cut It Up Challenge.  We're playing a name game!! The challenge is to use something on your project that begins with the first letter of your first name - fun, huh? My name is Larelyn so I'm using Leaves.  This cute wreathe was a freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables.  

I love this woodgrain paper from Authentique.  The sentiment is from the new Hero Arts September monthly kit which I heat embossed.  The svg is actually 4 separate cuts with some very fine branches.  My Silhouette cut them perfectly AFTER I selected the right papers (struggled with some white core paper but Doodlebug Designs and CTMH cut perfectly).  I added some epoxy dots and twine and called done. I hope you'll join in our fun GAME/CHALLENGE.  Remember to use something that starts with the first letter of your name and include a die cut (which might be your "name" piece). It's Zombie Time

Hi Crafty Friends, Wow!  I can't believe it's time to start posting Halloween projects but that's exactly what you'll find in Digital Delights by Louby Loo's new release for September.  Wendy has created four new adorable sets and I'd like to share Zomberz.

I colored him with Copic markers.  I also used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Rectangle dies and the Halloween Dies set.

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I'm sharing a card I made for Cut It Challenge Blog challenge #104. Our theme is Water Color-so add some water colored element along with your die cut.
I created this simple Thank You card.  The water colored background was made by brushing water across a piece of Ranger water color card stock and then adding Tim Holtz Water Color Crayons and brushing again with more water.  When dry, I cut the mat using a Jaded Blossom stitched rectangle die.  The sentiment is a die cut from Altenew that is a companion piece to the Thanks stamp set.

I added some organza ribbon and Doodlebug Designs sequins - quick and simple.

Fall is in the Air??

Today is my posting day at Paper Crafting World.

Is Fall in the air?  Although tomorrow is September 1, it's still quite hot here in Northern CA.  I am looking forward to fall and finally turning off the AC.  It's that time of year when the colors change, the weather changes - it just makes me happy!

My card today reflects the changing of the season.  It was quick and easy to cut and assemble and with the right choice of papers, I think it looks great.

I used the Card with Tag and Leaves cut file from the Paper Crafting World store.  All of the papers are from my fall stash box.  A little inking, a bow, some sequins and foam dimensions and I called it finished.  The letters are from Jaded Blossoms Alphabet Dies.

An Apple for You!

Are you gearing up for Back to School?  The design team at The Cutting Cafe certainly is. I had the honor of being asked to be a guest designer for the August blog posts.  Regina provided several fabulous cut files for us to use and I chose the Apple Shaped Card.
Here's my project:

This file is quick and easy but has SO MANY possibilities!! I love shaker cards and using the FUSE tool really makes them easy to assemble.  I used Jaded Blossom Stitched Circle Dies to cut the window and the frame and added Doodlebug Designs sequins to the shaker pocket (cut from a page protector and sealed with the FUSE tool.)  A little bit of doodling, Copic marker added to the stem and an organza bow and this cute little shape card is ready to send.

Cut It Up Challenge #103

It's time to Celebrate National Bow Tie Day (August 28).  Our Cut It Up challenge is to add a bow tie to your project and include a die cut, of course.
I used Jaded Blossom's  Mustache Dies for my card.  This patterned paper seemed the perfect background.  I love the bright, happy colors of my CAS card.

Dad Fixes Everything!

Hi Crafty Friends,
I got to thinking of all the wonderful things my hubby does for me and our daughters.  Sometimes I worry that we don't show our appreciation enough so I decided that a thank you card didn't have to wait for Father's Day to let him know how much he means to us.

I love this cut file from Paper Crafting World.  It's Card Dad Fixes Everything  which comes in both cut file and printable form.  It was so easy to cut and assemble.

I cut it on my Silhouette and die cut the label to add the "thank you" stamp.  The die and stamp are from Jaded Blossom.  All the papers are from my scrap folders.

Let's Go to the Circus

Hi Crafty Friends,
Digital Delights by Louby Loo has a cute new Circus-themed release.  There are four sets to choose from along with Digital Papers.
Here's BoBo Betty.  I'm not a fan of clowns but she's pretty darn cute.

I colored using Copic Markers and touches of Prisma white pencil.  The balloon die is from Jaded Blossom's new Border Dies 2.  I place the sentiment on a JB Label Die.  The stamped face is a Peachy Keen stamp.  I finished up using twine and some Doodlebug Designs Sprinkles.
