As I've mentioned many times, I participate in the Cards for Soldiers group on the Cricut messageboard. Here is a sample of the Valentine cards I am sending. Remember that our cards are for the soldiers to select to send back home to their loved ones. We are asked not to add much dimension, glitter, or bling. The glitter can penetrate uniforms making the individual visible to night vision apparatus. The dimension and/or bling can cause mailing difficulties. For these reasons (and because it's my personal style), I have kept the cards quite simple. If you do see some shine, it's glossy accents, stickles, or heat embossed powder, which are OK to use.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and Happy Crafting,
Larelyn

Those are beautiful. What a wonderful gift they are. :) :)
Beautiful cards Lareyln...wow, what an awesome thing to participate in!!!
Beautiful cards. I want to get a card making date set at the studio where I do my scrapbooking. One of the gals just had her son come home from Afghanistan. This was his first Christmas and birthday home in 4 years, so she's pretty happy. We want to do something like this. It's a great way to thank the troops! Beautiful job!
Can you tell me where I can go to get in on this awesome group. I would love to contribute some cards for our soldiers.
Thanks
