Cut it Up Challenge #200 ~ Shoot for the Stars

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our next challenge at Cut it Up Challenge Blog is
Shoot for the Stars.

My card celebrates High School Graduation.
This year's graduation celebrations have certainly been different with the pandemic.  Last night I watched the virtual Senior Honors Night on YouTube.  At this point, our small town is going to have a reverse graduation parade on June 2 and then, hopefully, an actual ceremony in the stadium in August.  It's truly a different world right now.

Here's the card I created using a background stamp from our sponsor, DRS Designs

Along with the Starry Background from DRS Designs, I used these products from Jaded Blossom-
The Graduate stamp set
Triangle Card Mat Die
School Dies
Mini Tag Dies 3
Alphabet Dies
Star Dies

I hope you'll join in our challenge.  Just follow the Cut it Up link above.

Jaded Blossom May Release ~ Sneak Peek Day 4

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to our final day of sneak peeks for the Jaded Blossom May Release.

We have one final stamp set to reveal. It will be a freebie to those of you who spend at least $40 (before tax and shipping.)  It is a 4 x 4 set that includes all of the release "bugs" in miniature form.

I made a note card set using envelopes and cards from a purchased set.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products:
Baby Bugs 4x4 (NEW)
Honeycomb Card Mat Die (NEW)
Bitten Leaf Stencil (NEW)

I used Prisma pencils to color the images since I was afraid Copics would bleed through the stationery cards and envelopes.

Here is the set used for today's reveal:
Image may contain: 1 person

The entire release will be available for purchase at 12:00 AM PST tomorrow and the Design Team's blog hop will also begin at that time.

You can find more ideas using this final stamp on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget the BLOG HOP tomorrow♥

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge ~ Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time for Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge.
This month's challenge theme is FLOWERS.

Here's what I made.

After applying a water color wash using Zig Brush markers, I stamped  using the Poppies set.  the full image is heat embossed while the partial images were stamped using the 2nd generation method and no embossing.  I added some depth to the full flower using a Prisma color pencil and the Prisma blending pen. The sentiment is from So Many Birthdays 3.   Finally, I added some sequins for a little sparkle.

I hope you'll join this month's challenge.  Be sure to check the Jaded Blossom post for last month's winner and more inspiration from the design team.

Cut it Up Challenge #199 ~ Friends

Hi Again, Crafting Friends,
It's my second post for today and now I'm sharing my challenge project for
Cut it Up Challenge #199 ~ Friends.
Once again I'm using the pierced bracket frame dies provided by our sponsor,
STAMPlorations.

The floral paper is from Crafter's Companion and the sentiment die is Sizzix which I cut out in two colors and chipboard to stack to add dimension.  The flower is Recollections and the leaves were in my die stash.  I love green and purple; it's one of my favorite color combinations.

I hope you'll play along with us.  Just follow the link above.
We have two sponsors for this challenge:

Pearly Sparkles May Challenge ~ Ribbons and Bows

Hi Crafty Friends,

Wow!  Can you believe it's May?
Being confined to home since February 15, I've lost track of days, weeks, and now months!  I am finally mobile (with a limp) after breaking my foot, but we are remaining sheltered in place until there's a better handle on Covid-19.  I have only been to the doctor while hubby has done weekly shopping and pharmacy runs at our local stores.
I will say that it feels good being able to get in my craft room and catch up with my design team projects

So, now it's time to share my May project for the Pearly Sparkles challenge - Ribbons and Bows.

The stamps and dies are from LaLa Land Crafts.  I colored Marci and the bee using Copic Markers.  The dies were cut using the Gemini Jr.  The ribbons are from American Crafts.

I hope you'll join our May challenge by sharing your ribbons and bows project to the link above.
