Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm sharing a simple yet elegant (I hope) Christmas card on the
Paper Crafting World blog today.
I love the simplicity of this Poinsettia Silhoutte
I've used classic linen pearl papers in white and gold for the card base and mat. I cut the poinsettia out of a pearlized red cover stock . The sentiment is a La-La Land Crafts die which I cut from gold foil. The polka dot paper if from the 6 x 6 stack, Gifts of Gold by Paper Studios (Hobby Lobby).
I plan to multiples of this card for our holiday mailing.
Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's theme for Always Fun Challenges is
Water Colors.
I've been wanting to work with embossed stamping and water colors so here's the result of my efforts.
The stamp is Jaded Blossom's Poinsettia set which I stamped and then heat embossed with Gold Detail. The I water colored using Distress Inks - so much fun!
The sentiment is also heat embossed onto vellum using Jaded Blossom's Elegant Holiday Greetings.
The amazing gold/white mat card stock is the Mercury Glass stack from Hobby Lobby - I'm in love!

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for another Cut It Up Challenge. We're making Thank You cards for this challenge.
Don't forget to include a die cut!!!
I had some fun stamping and embossing on this card. I used Jaded Blossom's Autumn Leaves which I heat embossed after stamping. The sentiment is a die from Altenew. I used La-La Land Crafts adhesive foil and chipboard to give the die shine and dimension. Finally I added Nuvo Glitter Drops.
Please join us for our Thank You challenge which is being sponsored by
Heartfelt Creations.

Hi Crafty Friends,
This is my final Halloween project. Now to wait for the kiddos tomorrow night.
For this Always Fun Challenge, I made a small gable box. It was going to be a treat holder but while at our LSS Crop, a crafty friend suggested that it would be cute as a tea light holder. I tried it and I really like the results.
I did add clear plastic behind the cut out so it could still be a treat holder.
The box is a new Jaded Blossom Gable box die and the ghost and spider are from Jaded Blossom's
Halloween Dies.

This cute image is from Stamp-It Australia (Crafter's Companion). It was such a quick card that I made multiples. I just added some Copic coloring, a sequin and twine - easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping in today.
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is my monthly DT Spotlight post for Kitty Bee Designs.
I used this adorable "I Am Bat Owl" for my card.
I colored using Copic markers and cut the image out with my Scan N Cut2. The branch is from
La-La Land Crafts and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Super Hero 2 stamp set.
There is a different spotlight project every day of the week at
Kitty Bee Designs.

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's Always Fun Challenge is Black and White.
Ok, I have to admit that I took a bit of artistic license when I added a touch of red . . .
I love the simplicity of this card. The die is Jaded Blossom Christmas Scenic Dies and the patterned paper is Authentique. Just a heat embossed sentiment and it was good to go.

Hi Crafty Friends,
This week's challenge is one I love ~ MONOCHROME. I'm such a paper hoarder and I love playing with lots of different colors, shades, and textures. Today I worked with some of my masculine papers to create this card for my hubby's hunting buddy.
I used several Jaded Blossom dies; Christmas Dies 2, Card Mat Dies, and Stitched Rectangles. The sentiment was cut from Little B's Handwritten dies set and the trees are from Impression Obsession.
I hope you've been following our Always Fun Challenges. There is a new challenge every Monday. Come on over and join us!
