My Besties International Challenge for July ~ Under the Sea

Years ago, when I first began card making, my bestie and I went on a 15 store "shop hop."  At each store we were given materials to make a 6x6 layout.  Since I don't really do albums, I still have some of the kits which I've been using to create cards LOL.  That being said, I have no idea of the paper manufacturer and I'm pretty sure the flowers are punches!  I do love the colors, though. My Fluffy Bestie was colored using Copic Markers. I hope you'll still join us for our June challenge.  Just follow the link at the top of the post.

My Besties International Challenge ~ June

It's June and time for a new My Bestie International challenge. This month's OPTIONAL theme is Summer.
I've used a cute Bestie Fluffy to create my summer-themed card.

I have quite a stash of summer papers.  This two sided patterned sheet is by Bella Blvd.  The stitched sun and clouds are LaLa Land Craft dies and the waves, stitched oval and scalloped oval are all from Jaded Blossom.  I added Nuvo Crystal drops for bubbles and colored the Bestie image using Copic markers.

My Besties International Challenge ~ May Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's May 1st and time to share my inspiration for our My Besties International Challenge  May Challenge.  The optional theme is GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN.

You can find this Fluffy Bestie image HERE. I colored using Copic Markers and then embellished this large card using LaLa Land Crafts dies and some Doodlebug Designs glitter sprinkles.  I enclosed a Starbuck's gift card inside.
You may use any image by any artist when you join our challenge (follow the link at the top of the post.)  There will be prize images awarded to both DT Members and NON DT members. Our challenge is open for the entire month.

My Besties International JANUARY Challenge ~ Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hi Crafty Friends,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Our first My Besties International Challenge of the new year is under way. The optional theme is Baby It's Cold Outside.  
For those of you in the mid west and north east US, this is appropriate as the temperatures are in the negative numbers - eeek!  Here in northern CA we have cold, frosty mornings but that's it.  We've had so little rain here that our mountains are bare and the ski areas have had to make artificial snow to attract skiers and snowboarders. Enough weather, let's get to my challenge image.

I colored with Copic markers and used die cuts from LaLaLand Crafts to create this little scene. You can find the image HERE.

Welcome to December!!!  Whoo hoo, it's almost Christmas.
My Besties International Challenge optional theme is Winter Wonderland.
I've used this cute Besties image called Lil Rosie Hot Cocoa.  

Rosie was colored with Copic Markers.  Even though my home decorations are very traditional, I enjoy using some non traditional colors for my cards.  Everything on this card is from my craft stash.  I just used bits and pieces of this and that LOL.

My Besties International Challenge ~ Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's the 15th of the month so it's time to remind you that there is still time to enter our  My Besties International Challenge.
This month's optional theme is FRIENDSHIP. You may use any image by any artist so I'll hope you'll join in the fun.
Here's my project using Star Dust Mermaid.

I colored using Copic markers and added some La-La Land Crafts die cuts.  They are exclusive to this month's Club Kit.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Mermaid Kisses. After fussy cutting the image, I cut out a Scalloped Oval using tulle (it worked!) to use as a mat. I added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the die cuts and Nuvo clear Crystal Drops for the sea creatures bubbles.
