Pearly Sparkles Monthly Challenge ~ Add a Ribbon and/or Bow

Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to September!!! Oh my, how can that be?  Guess it's time to head to the shed to start bringing out fall decorations - woohoo!
This month at Pearly Sparkles we're sharing projects that have ribbon and/or bows on them.   I love ribbon but I seem to go in cycles using it.

Here's another card I made using Zig Clean Color brush pens..  It's simple yet I think it's really pretty.  I love purple and turquoise and the pop of pink is just an added surprise.  The patterned paper and ribbon came in one of my Crafter's Companion kits.

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge 435 ~ Thinking of You

Hi Crafty Friends,
Our challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is THINKING OF YOU.
Along with birthday cards, I feel you can never have too many of these cards in your stash.
You know how much I love using Copic Markers for my projects but I'm trying to branch out and master new skills.  Today's card is a simple tag which I created using Zig Clean Color water color brush pens.  I love the way it turned out but I must admit that this isn't an easy technique for me because I tend to over-color! EEEK!  As Elsa says, I need to "Let it Go!"

This ribbon is some homemade crinkle ribbon which I made using bias tape and distress stain.

My Time to Craft challenge 404 ~ Fantasy

Welcome back, Crafty Friends,
Our My Time to Craft Challenge is FANTASY.  We want to see your Fairies, Dragons, Unicorns, etc.
Here's my card.

The dies are all from La-La Land Crafts.  The sentiment and image are Jaded Blossom stamps.  I colored using Copic markers both the image and the rainbow.  I added Spectrum Sparkle to the heart wreath.  The papers are Doodlebug Designs.

Cut it Up Challenge #181 ~ Outdoor Fun

Hi Crafty Friends, Our Cut it Up theme is OUTDOOR FUN.   I enjoy the outdoors but I must admit that I also enjoy being clean and comfortable.  So, our outdoor adventures involved a camping trailer at first and then a 40' motorhome- guess I'm a wuss!! My card for this challenge reflects my outdoor style.

The patterned papers are from Authentique. I used dies from La-La Land Crafts (trees and trailer) and Sizzix (words) to finish the scene - quick and simple. Come on over to Cut It Up and share your Outdoor Fun creation. Our prize is a Michael's $10 gift card provided by Cut it Up Challenge blog.

Die Cuttin' Divas challenge 434 ~ School

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's difficult to realize that it's Back to School time especially since our daily temperatures have been running in the high 90's to over 100 degrees.  But, school did, indeed, begin last week so this week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge is appropriate.
Here's a cute little tag holder that I made.  You could add a gift card any sort of tiny gift or treat to send your kiddo off to a great first day.

I used Authentique papers cut die my tag pocket holder.  The dies and stamp are from Jaded Blossom.

Die Cuttin' Divas challenge #433 ~ Unicorns

Hi Crafty Friends,
Who doesn't love a UNICORN?   That's our theme this week at Die Cuttin' Divas.
I have several sets of unicorn stamps but when I attended the La-La Land Crafts retreat I fell in love with this Unicorn die cut set.

This has become such a popular pattern for shirts and party decorations.  I love it on the card.  The rainbow and clouds die is also from La-La Land Crafts.  It has hanging hearts but I cut them off so I could add the LLLC shooting star.  Naturally I had to use glitter and foil papers and add Wink of Stella for all the sparkle.

Cut it Up Challenge #180 ~ the focus is on SENTIMENTS

Hi Crafty Friends,
For challenge #180 on the Cut it Up Challenge Blog we are focusing on SENTIMENTS.
Our sponsor, Scrapping for Less, sent an adorable clear stamp set for us to use.  It has flip flops and a cool summer drink but I decided to only use two of the sentiments this time.

I used a card mat die from Whimsy Stamps for the base.  The clouds where inked using La-La Land Crafts new Summer is Here stencil.  I also used Jaded Blossom's Tropical die to create the sandy shore.  I had the greenery die cuts in my stash.  The sun is from a Spellbinders miniature set that I found at Tuesday Morning.

My Time to Craft challenge #403 ~ Oriental

Hello Again Friday Friends,
It's also time for a new challenge at My Time to Craft. Our theme for this challenge is ORIENTAL.
La-La Land Crafts has some amazing dies that fit the theme perfectly.  

The sentiment, cherry blossom fan and temple are from the July 2017 Club kit.  I also used the cherry blossom flower dies and branch dies.  I got my color inspiration from the patterned paper that I had in my floral paper stash.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Oh my goodness, I'm late with this post!  So sorry, I thought I had it scheduled - eek!
The first challenge of each month at Die Cuttin' Divas is a SKETCH challenge.
I used La-La Land Crafts March 2019 Club Kit to create this birthday card for my sister-in-law.

I used my Gemini Jr. for the die cuts and two Cuttlebug embossing folders for the texture.  The image and cake highlights were done with Copic markers.
