Die Cuttin' Divas challenge #433 ~ Unicorns

Hi Crafty Friends,

Who doesn't love a UNICORN?
That's our theme this week at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I have several sets of unicorn stamps but when I attended the La-La Land Crafts retreat I fell in love with this Unicorn die cut set.

This has become such a popular pattern for shirts and party decorations.  I love it on the card.
The rainbow and clouds die is also from La-La Land Crafts.  It has hanging hearts but I cut them off so I could add the LLLC shooting star.  Naturally I had to use glitter and foil papers and add Wink of Stella for all the sparkle.

I hope you'll share your UNICORN projects with us.

Out with the Old, In with the New

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's time to say good bye to 2016 and I have the perfect Digital Delights by Louby Loo image to say farewell.  Challenge #112 at Cut it Up Challenge Blog is sponsored by Digital Delights and the theme is Out with Old, In with the New.

The "good bye" sentiment is computer generated.  My OLD supplies include the patterned papers from Paper Studio's Eat Cake stack, and my Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangle dies (oh, and my Copic markers).  The "Celebrate" word die and shadow is new from Neat and Tangled and the "curly border" die is new from Taylored Expressions.

Come on over to Cut it Up and share your new crafty goodies by joining Challenge #112.

Digital Delights by Louby Loo is offering a $5 voucher as the prize for this challenge.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Always Grateful

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's my design team day on the Paper Crafting World blog.

For my project I combined two cut files from Paper Crafting World to make a Thanksgiving treat box.

I used the Always Grateful Title cut file for the sign that this cute squirrel is holding.  The Squirrel treat box is a Pazzles Craft Room exclusive.  In the original file the squirrel is holding acorns and there's an acorn handle but I think the sign is a cute substitution, especially if  the project is used as a Thanksgiving table favor.

The two files were cut using my Silhouette.  I added a little inking and Signo white gel pen accents.  I also glittered the leaves using Wink of Stella.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Be sure to visit Paper Crafting World for a wonderful selection of seasonal and holiday cut files and print and cuts.

Hostess Monday at Digital Delights

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my turn, once again, to share a Hostess Monday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo project with you.
I love adding dimension to my cards and one way is to create a window card and add layers both inside and outside the window.  I wanted to create the illusion of an ocean on this one.
I used both sides of the Kaiser Craft Sea Grass patterned paper.  I placed the Sea Grass paper as a mat on the card base first and then cut out the Jaded Blossom Scallop Oval through both.  I printed the sentiment on a piece of vellum and adhered it to the inside.  Then I added the die cuts from Jaded Blossom Tropical Dies, some sequins, and the adorable Mermaid Samantha from the Digital Delights by Louby Loo store.  I colored her using Copic Markers and added sparkle with my Wink of Stella brush glitter pens.

This gives you a better look at the vellum window.  I covered it with a piece of coordinating card stock with the oval cut out so you can't see where I adhered it to the inside cover.

Here you can see the flip side of the patterned paper which I used on the inside with a coordinating mat.  You can see it through the vellum and that's the look I wanted.

Deck the Halls

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Clear it Out Challenge #99.  The theme for this challenge is CHRISTMAS with the stash item, GLITTER.  Our challenge sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.  I've used the Elephant and Christmas Tree image which was a freebie.

I used Wink of Stella brush glitter on the ornaments and star.  I also used Stickles Frosted Lace on the stockings and Santa hat.  The green mat was cut out of DCWV glitter card stock.  I also used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Square dies and a sentiment from JB's Watt's Up stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers.

A Furry Christmas to You!

Hi Crafty Friends,

For my post today at Paper Crafting World, I'm using a cute print n cut file from the PCW store.

The is the Dog w Present n Santa Hat PNC file.
I printed and cut two images so that I could fussy cut one present and pop it up on the base image.  I added yellow Wink of Stella to the ribbon and bow and Puffy sparkly embossing powder to the hat along with a bit of Glossy Accents on the nose.
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Christmas Tweetings which I stamped and heat embossed with white.  I also used Jaded Blossom's Flag Dies and Border Dies, then finished off with a button and twine bow.
Don't forget our November challenge - anything goes with a twist of RED (twist is optional).  You can find the challenge by clicking the badge on my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by.

Meowy Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for Clear It Out Challenge #98.  The challenge is to use white as your dominant color and anything goes for your stash item.
I've used a cute image from our sponsor, Sami Stamps, called Ornament Kitty.
To create my image frame, I used Jaded Blossom's Stitched Circles dies and Lawn Fawn's Stitched rectangles.  I traced inside the circle with a silver pen and added sequins.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Meow and Forever stamp set.  I colored with Copic markers and added silver Wink of Stella covered that with clear embossing powder which I heat set.

Clear it Out challenge #97

Hi Crafty Friends,

Our challenge this time is Halloween or Christmas and the stash item is a DIE CUT.
I'm using an image from our sponsor, SLS Lines, which is a Sugar Skull.

The Sugar Skull is not actually a Halloween image but rather one used during the celebration of
Dia de Los Muertos which joyfully honors the dead.  To that end, I wanted to keep my design truer to that tradition rather than the Halloween colors and embellishments.

I used Spectrum Aquas to color the image and then covered it entirely with clear Wink of Stella.
The mat is the large Spellbinders Fleur de Lis die.  I used a gold Pilot Paint Marker to draw the borders on the card base and image mat and then added a prima flower.

You've Been Kissed

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was so lucky to be given another opportunity to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom.  You know how much I love their stamps and dies - a bit of an addiction, I think!  Thanks Michelle and Candace for the second go round and for feeding my addiction.
Since Christmas is only three days away I figured it's time to think beyond Christmas from a crafty standpoint.  So, I've made this cute little Valentine treat box using Jaded Blossom goodies.

For this "sweet treat," I used the Goodie Bag Die, Mini Tag Dies 2, Valentine Dies and a stamp from Sprinkled with Love.  The sweet Lil Cupid Girl is a digital stamp from Digi My World.
The image is colored with Copic Markers.  I added a little sparkle with Wink of Stella and Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Joy to the World

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to another Delightful Challenge and sadly the last ever Delightful Challenge. It was decided to close the challenge site to devote more time to Digital Delights by Louby Loo designs. Digital Delights by Louby Loo will NOT be going anywhere and will continue to bring you fun and exciting daily posts and new designs.

For our final challenge post we've chosen the theme Celebrate!  When you visit Delightful Challenges you'll see lots of different interpretations of the theme.
I've chosen to celebrate the birth of our Lord using the Three Wise Men set from
Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

The heat embossed sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Elegant Holiday Greetings set stamped onto a Spellbinders grommet label.  The Wise Men were printed and cut using my Silhouette then colored with Copic Markers adding highlights using Stickles, Wink of Stella brush glitter and Smooch.  Some Doodlebug sparkles and gold ribbon finished the card.
This final challenge is being sponsored by our own

Prize

The Delightful Challenges design team is ending its term with this final challenge.  I will be joining the Digital Delights Blog team beginning January 8, 2015.  Although there won't be a weekly challenge, you'll see more amazing ideas using the fabulous digital products from Digital Delights by Louby Loo every day.  We hope you'll stop by the Digital Delights Blog at

It's a Kid's World

Hi Crafty Friends,
Time for our next challenge at Delightful Challenges.  Today we're asking for projects designed with a kid in mind.  I'm using Joyful Joey from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I just love this adorable image.  It's hard to tell but I put the image on a wobble so Joey can joyfully strut his Christmas stuff!  The papers are Recollections.  The tree border and candy cane are dies from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Die set.  Joey is colored with Copics with a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter brush and Liquid Applique for his furry hat.

Christmas Candy Molly

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
It's NEW RELEASE day at Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the Delightful Challenges design team is sharing all the fabulous holiday images HERE.  My new image is Christmas Candy Molly - she's so cute holding her bowl of peppermint candies.

I did a print and cut on the Silhouette and then used Copic markers to color the image.  Molly is on a Spellbinders lacy oval to which I added some faux stitching.  These papers have been in my stash - I just love this holly pattern - which, by the way  - is this week's challenge, using patterned paper.
A little bow tied around the panel, some Wink of Stella Brush glitter and Stickles, and Molly is ready to send.

You can join in our challenge by linking your project to Delightful Challenges.
